Connecticut River Quest Swallow Cruise!

Spectacular and entertaining!

If you live in New England, you've got to put it on your calendar for next year, Connecticut River Quest's swallow cruises. For some unknown reasons, these Tree Swallows swarm to the same little island and all go to roost at the same time. Hundreds of thousands, to the tune of a half a million tiny birds dance across the sky to the delight of those lucky few.

No, you can't go to Block Island from Haddam.
It was going to Hartford for some riverfest.

Screen shows bottom and fish,
or Capt'n Mark can show you radar,
such as a flock of Monarchs or swallows

Herring Gull

Most Ospreys are gone, just juveniles left.
Kids these days!
